We are aware of an issue with debit cards. The best way to protect yourself and accounts is to use the manage card feature on internet banking and mobile banking app. The way to use it is by going to manage card, and turn the card off when you are not shopping or using an ATM.
Welcome to THE VILLAGE BANK website. We hope you will find this site to answer most, if not all your questions about the services we offer. We have been in banking for over 85 years.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR INTERNET STATEMENTS
Signing up for internet bank e-mail statements is very easy. All you have to do is go to the statement tab on your account. Read the disclosure agreement and fill out the necessary information at the end of it. That's it. You will receive an e-mail whenever your statements are ready to view. The statement will have a retention period of a year starting with the that month's statement.
For transfers to be posted same-day, they need to be done by 5:00 P.M., otherwise they will post on the next business day.
When you are trying to set up a transfer on the internet for the first time, please contact the bank before you do this. We have to have an agreement signed by you.
